Job summary

DHL Supply Chain in Cowpens, SC is hiring a Logistics Operations Coordinator to assist in coordinating truck, rail, and international shipments, and to provide communication to shippers and carriers. You will assist in order management and problem solving for customers.

The role runs on a 2nd shift: Monday–Friday 3:00pm–11:00pm, with pay at $20.50 per hour plus a $1.00 shift premium and eligibility for monthly attendance bonuses for full-time staff.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
• 6 months to 1 year warehouse or logistics experience preferred.
• Strong communication and customer service skills.
• Ability to multitask and work in a team or independently.

Responsibilities

• Assist in coordination of export/import shipments.
• Establish and coordinate schedule with carrier and tender shipments.
• Track and trace all shipments.
• Update Transportation Management System(s) including SAP.
• Prepare and publish daily, weekly reports.
• Obtain data to assist in performance analysis.
• Proactively identify problems to management.
• Answer and resolve basic billing questions when needed.
• Prepare client invoice packets.
• Confirm rates with carriers.
