Job summary

Expeditors International in Locust Grove, GA is seeking a Logistics Operations Manager to lead on-site warehousing and process improvement. Based at the customer site, you will define business processes, manage change, and coach peers while aligning with customer culture.

The role requires strong data analysis, SAP/SQL expertise, and the ability to drive cost savings through PDCA and cross-functional collaboration, with occasional local travel.

Qualifications

• 3–5+ years of supply chain or logistics experience (distribution/DC or 3PL preferred).
• Excellent customer service and relationship-building skills.
• Effective written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong knowledge of Excel and project tools; familiarity with Google Workspace preferred.
• Experience with PDCA or other continuous-improvement frameworks.

Responsibilities

• Be the single point of contact to manage all site Operations exceptions & reporting.
• Monitor KPIs (OTIF, inventory accuracy, ticket SLAs) and drive improvements.
• Oversee day-to-day warehouse operations in a large facility.
• Coordinate with 3PL partners, hubs, and transportation to ensure stable flow.
