Job summary

Smith+Neb is seeking an Operations Manager to lead a Logistics Team and drive efficiency in inventory and asset utilization. You will partner with Sales Management to optimize asset use and manage consignment agreements, custody cards, and field cycle counts.

The role emphasizes performance against KPIs, SOP adherence, and cross-functional collaboration in a highly matrixed environment. A strong background in logistics and systems like MoveMedical and ERP is required.

Qualifications

• Requires high school diploma or equivalent; a Bachelor's degree in a related field preferred.
• 5–8 years in logistics, supply chain, or warehouse operations; leadership experience preferred.
• Exposure to regulated environments or medical device logistics is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Oversee asset and inventory management, ensuring consignment agreements and accuracy of custody cards and field cycle counts.
• Drive KPI & performance management; implement corrective actions and share outcomes with senior management.
• Lead day-to-day logistics team management, training, and performance development; ensure adherence to SOPs and daily/weekly/quarterly activities.
• Maintain quality, regulatory, health, safety, and environmental compliance; coordinate with Quality and Regulatory teams on recalls.
• Familiarize with MoveMedical and ERP systems to navigate inventory and logistics processes.
