Job summary

Smith+ Nephew in the Charlotte area seeks a Field Logistics Supervisor to lead the on-site logistics team and implement inventory asset management policies. You will ensure accurate product placement records and align with Field Sales, driving continuous process improvements.

You will supervise OSC Specialists and MOSCs, train staff, coordinate inventories, analyze asset utilization, and support cost-efficient, compliant operations across the territory.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a related field is preferred.
• Experience in logistics and supply chain management is required.
• Professional certifications such as APICS, Six Sigma, Lean, or Project Management are a plus.

Responsibilities

• Supervise daily logistics and inventory processes to ensure SOPs are followed.
• Manage OSC Specialists and MOSCs, including personnel and performance.
• Train new logistics staff and provide ongoing training on SOPs and systems.
• Coordinate territory inventories, counts, and reconciliation to minimize variances.
• Support IAP validations and ensure accurate records are maintained.
• Analyze inventory levels to maximize utilization and support sales performance.
