Job summary

DSV – Global Transport and Logistics in the United States (Nevada) is seeking an Operations Manager to lead day-to-day site operations, including warehousing, receiving, and shipping, and to drive performance against service and cost goals.

The role involves planning inbound/outbound volume, coordinating with customers, and leading a team through hiring, training, and performance management, while ensuring adherence to SOPs and continuous improvement initiatives.

Qualifications

• Must have a high school diploma or GED.
• Bachelor’s degree is preferred.
• 7 years’ experience in logistics/distribution.
• 5 years’ supervisory experience required.

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day site operations including warehousing, receiving, and shipping.
• Plan inbound/outbound volumes and space utilization.
• Manage hiring, training, performance appraisals, and labor planning.
• Ensure safety, quality, and KPI targets are met.
• Coordinate with HR on staffing and development.
• Maintain client and senior management communications on critical issues.
