Qualifications

• 2–4 years related functional experience.
• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Bachelor’s Degree preferred.
• Strong written/oral communication and organizational skills required.
• Advanced computer skills including Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint required.
• Regular, predictable, full attendance is an essential function of the job.
• Willingness to travel as necessary, work the required schedule, and pass background/drug screening.

Responsibilities

• Communicate performance standards that are specific and measurable, interview hourly associates and provide recommendations for hire.
• Supervise logistics operations including dispatch, freight loading/unloading, documentation and procedure control; improve methods to increase productivity.
• Ensure compliance with financial policies; manage overtime to meet productivity targets.
• Support safety by aligning activities with location safety strategy and regulatory requirements.
• Understand customer goals and drive continuous improvement through efficiency and service.
• Plan work assignments to maximize fleet/warehouse utilization.
