Job summary

J.B. Hunt Transport, Inc. in York, Pennsylvania is seeking a part-time Operations Internship for Fall 2026.

Under close supervision, you will assist with customers on providing transportation and logistics services. Gain exposure to basic transportation management principles and participate in daily tasks including planning freight, asset utilization, safety and DOT compliance, driver payroll, and logistics analysis.

Qualifications

• Enrolled in an undergraduate or graduate degree program.
• Able to work 20-25 hours per week during the school semester.

Responsibilities

• Gain exposure to basic transportation management principles.
• Participate in daily tasks including freight planning, asset utilization, safety management, DOT compliance, driver payroll, and logistics analysis.
• Understand industry trends and company initiatives related to driver retention.
• Perform account-specific duties as required by customers.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.
