Job summary

Venture Logistics, LLC is seeking an organized Operations Coordinator to support day-to-day transportation operations in a fast-paced trucking environment. Working a rotating 7 days on / 7 days off schedule, you will serve as the critical link between drivers, customers, dispatch, planning, and leadership to ensure safe, compliant, and efficient operations.

The role requires coordinating daily transportation activities, monitoring service execution, and resolving issues while maintaining DOT

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years in transportation, logistics, fleet operations, dispatch or related roles.
• Experience in trucking/transportation industry preferred.
• Experience with TMS such as TMW or similar software preferred.
• Working knowledge of DOT regulations, Hours of Service, and compliance practices preferred.
• Ability to work a rotating 7 days on / 7 days off schedule, including weekends and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate daily transportation activities to ensure on-time pickup and delivery.
• Serve as primary contact for drivers during shifts, providing support and guidance.
• Monitor load/route execution and resolve service issues or delays.
• Communicate shipment status with customers, brokers, and 3PLs.
• Collaborate with dispatch and planning to optimize fleet utilization.
• Enter and maintain operational data in TMW and other systems.
• Support driver retention through proactive issue resolution.
• Escalate critical issues to leadership when needed.
• Ensure DOT compliance and safety policy adherence.
