Job summary

LX Pantos America, Inc. seeks an Operations Manager to lead regional warehouse activities, drive service quality, and maintain inventory accuracy across multiple sites.

You will monitor KPIs, visit sites, and enforce SOPs while coordinating with engineering on layout and workflow improvements. The role emphasizes cross-functional collaboration with IT, HR, Finance, and Sales, plus hands-on problem solving and continuous improvement.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, Business, or related field.
  • 3–7 years of logistics or warehouse operations experience; multi-site experience preferred.
  • Experience launching or supporting new warehouse sites is a plus.
  • Understanding of warehouse processes (inbound/outbound, inventory management, value-added services).
  • Proficiency in MS Office; WMS knowledge required; CAD experience preferred but not mandatory.
  • Strong problem-solving, communication, and customer management skills.
  • Ability to travel frequently within the assigned region (30–40%).

Responsibilities

  • Oversee day-to-day warehouse operations within the region, ensuring service quality and productivity.
  • Monitor site KPIs (inbound/outbound, inventory accuracy, labor productivity, SLA adherence).
  • Conduct regular on-site visits to review performance and resolve issues.
  • Ensure consistent SOP application across warehouses in the region.
  • Assist in planning and launching new warehouses within the region.
  • Support operational readiness: layout review, resource planning, onboarding local teams.
  • Participate in process setup, pilot operations, and stabilization after go-live.
  • Coordinate with engineering on layout changes, workflow optimization, and equipment planning.
  • Address operational issues escalated by site managers and provide hands-on support.
  • Identify inefficiencies and propose improvement initiatives (workflow, headcount, cost structure).
  • Implement Lean practices and promote standardization to enhance productivity.
  • Monitor customer-specific requirements and lead corrective actions.
  • Serve as a primary operational contact for customers in the region.
  • Participate in customer meetings, operational reviews, and performance discussions.
  • Support Business Development and Key Account teams in evaluating operational feasibility for new projects.
  • Coordinate with public agencies, vendors, and third parties for regional support.
  • Prepare regional operational reports (KPI, throughput, stock count, cost trends).
  • Verify warehouse master data accuracy (facility size, headcount, equipment, contract details).
  • Support monthly performance reviews through data collection and site-level analysis.
  • Track progress on logistics cost reduction initiatives within the region.
  • Work closely with the national Contract Logistics team to align regional operations with company-wide strategies.
  • Coordinate with Transportation, IT, HR, and Finance teams to support regional operations.
  • Share best practices and operational learnings across sites.

Job description

Key Responsibilities
1. Operations Management
