Job summary

Maker’s Pride, LLC is seeking a Shipping and Receiving Lead to direct material movement and supervise staff at the loading docks. The role involves operating a forklift, ensuring GMP compliance, and maintaining inventory accuracy while coordinating with production and warehouse teams.

The ideal candidate will have strong leadership, good communication skills, and the ability to train and motivate a crew. Forklift certification or the ability to obtain one is required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required or preferred.
• Forklift license or ability to obtain one through Maker's Pride.
• Strong leadership and communication skills; ability to train and supervise staff.
• Basic math and reading skills; familiarity with FIFO.

Responsibilities

• Direct and supervise material handling activities and crew at loading docks.
• Assign employees to stations and monitor performance; ensure GMP compliance.
• Operate forklift to load ingredients and packaging onto trucks; ensure safe, efficient loading.
• Maintain inventory accuracy and support production with timely material movement.
• Prepare reports and communicate issues to supervisors; maintain safety and housekeeping standards.
