Job summary

MCC is seeking a Material Handler to maintain production and distribution of print substrates. You will pull orders from inventory, deliver production materials, and stage finished goods on the 3rd shift (11pm–7:30am).

The role requires reading job tickets, coordinating workflow with associates, safely operating material-moving equipment, and entering information into tracking systems. You will support equipment maintenance and uphold GMP/HAACP/BRC policies while maintaining daily housekeeping

Responsibilities

• 3rd shift hours: 11pm–7:30am
• Reads and follows job tickets to produce high-quality product
• Executes plans to maximize throughput and coordinates workflow
• Operates material-moving equipment safely
• Completes required documentation accurately and promptly
• Maintains equipment and assists with preventative maintenance
• Enters data into tracking systems
• Adheres to facility safety policies (GMP/HAACP/BRC) and ethics
• Maintains daily housekeeping
• Other duties as assigned

Material Handler Summary

Responsibilities:

• 3rd shift hours - 11pm - 7:30am
• Reads and understands Job Tickets and layouts to produce the correct product of the highest quality.
• Understands and executes planschedulesinan accurateand prompt manner to effectively maximize throughput.
• Works closely with all Associates to coordinate the workflow.
• Performance metrics must be at the average or greater for this position.
• Completes required documentation in an accurate and prompt manner.
• Safely operates material moving equipment.
• Assists in maintaining equipment for optimal operation, including adjustments. Assists with preventative maintenance.
• Correctly enters information into systems for job tracking.
• Complies with established facility safety policies and procedures and other regulations (IE: GMP, HAACP, BRC) as applicable.
• Interacts and behaves professionally. Treats all associates respectfully and professionally whilemaintainingthe companycode of ethics.
• Responsible for maintaining daily housekeeping efforts.
• Other duties as assigned.

The physical demands require standing, using hands to finger, feel and touch; reach with arms and hands; talk and hear. This position requires frequent walking. Occasionally employee is required to climb or balance, stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl. Must be able to regularly lift or move up to 50 pounds. Specific vision requirements are close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus.
