Job summary

Siemens Mobility in Hingham, MA is seeking a Logistics Manufacturing Engineer to optimize material flow, inventory control, and production support, driving Lean and 5S initiatives to improve safety, quality and delivery.

You will design and improve material flow between Receiving, Stockroom, Production and Shipping, lead continuous improvement projects, and collaborate with Engineering, Production and Quality teams to implement ERP/SAP data validation and reporting.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
  • Lean manufacturing techniques.
  • Experience with SAP or similar ERP system.
  • Experience simulating manufacturing systems and processes.
  • Proficiency in data collection and analysis.
  • Understanding of Supply-Chain Management and/or Internal Logistics.
  • Prior manufacturing experience.
  • Experience analyzing business processes and implementing or streamlining improvements.

We are looking for Logistics Manufacturing Engineer. This position will be based in Hingham, MA.

Position Summary

The Logistics Manufacturing Engineer (LME) is responsible for optimizing material flow, manufacturing logistics, inventory control processes, warehouse layouts, and production support activities. This position drives continuous improvement initiatives to ensure efficient movement of materials from receipt through production and shipment while supporting operational excellence goals.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and improve material flow processes between Receiving, Stockroom, Production, and Shipping.
  • Analyze and optimize warehouse and production layouts to improve efficiency and reduce waste.
  • Support Kanban, VMI, kitting, and inventory management initiatives.

The pay range for this position is $82K - $110K annually. The actual wage offered may be lower or higher depending on budget and candidate experience, knowledge, skills, qualifications, and premium geographic location.
