The program trains you to handle loads, schedules, and fleet optimization while building internal and external partnerships. The role focuses on ensuring safe, timely freight movement and DOT compliance, with exposure to payroll, budgeting, and performance reporting.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degrees in business administration, supply chain or transportation management.
• GED or high school with related experience may be acceptable.
• Flexibility to travel to account, customer and company events as needed.

Responsibilities

• Learn to build and maintain positive relationships with drivers and outside carriers.
• Fill in for absent personnel and support special projects to optimize fleet operations.
• Learn to train drivers and staff on internal and customer systems.
• Assist in analyzing KPI data and presenting customer-specific reports.
• Gain knowledge of inventory, assets, and driver assignment to balance equipment.
• Perform payroll, budgeting, invoicing, and preparation of operational reports.
• Help manage yard operations and coordinate with maintenance for preventive services.
• Collaborate with drivers, customers, and staff to resolve service issues and plan routes.
