Qualifications

  • 5+ years of experience in logistics, supply chain, inventory, transportation, shipping/receiving, or related field.
  • 2+ years of leadership or supervisory experience preferred.
  • Familiarity with ERP systems, shipping software, and carrier portals.
  • Knowledge of domestic and/or international shipping regulations and documentation.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
  • Ability to work in a team environment with strong communication skills.
  • Must be a U.S citizen.

Responsibilities

  • Lead and develop logistics, shipping, receiving, inventory and material handling personnel as applicable.
  • Coordinate shipments and transportation to meet production and customer requirements.
  • Manage carrier relationships, performance, and freight costs.
  • Ensure accurate shipping, receiving, inventory, and transportation documentation.
  • Ensure compliance with safety, quality, transportation, and regulatory requirements.
  • Monitor logistics KPIs and identify opportunities to improve efficiency and reduce costs.
  • Partner with Procurement, Production, Quality, and Customer Service to resolve logistics issues.
  • Maintain safe, organized, and efficient logistics operations.
  • Lead continuous improvement initiatives related to logistics and material flow.

The Logistics Manager oversees inbound and outbound logistics operations within a manufacturing environment, ensuring the timely, accurate, compliant, and cost‑effective movement of materials and finished goods. This role provides leadership for shipping, receiving, transportation, inventory and material movement activities.

Essential Job Functions
  • Oversee daily inbound and outbound logistics, shipping, receiving, and material movement.

  • Coordinate shipments and transportation to meet production and customer requirements.

Schedule

The standard schedule is Monday through Friday, 8-10 hour shifts, with the flexibility to work evenings and weekends as needed based on workload demands.

Required Qualifications

Salary Information
