Job summary

ATF is seeking a Logistics Management Specialist (Property) for the Property and Fleet Management Sections, MMB, LAD, Office of Management. The incumbent provides an array of logistics management services in support of the Bureau's law enforcement mission.

Job description

The incumbent serves as a Logistics Management Specialist (Property) for the Property and Fleet Management Sections, Materiel Management Branch (MMB), Logistics and Acquisitions Division (LAD), Office of Management (OM), Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives (ATF). Incumbent provides an array of logistics management services in support of the Bureau's Law Enforcement Mission.

To qualify for the Logistics Management Specialist (Property) position at the GS-12 grade, you must meet the following requirements by the closing date of this announcement.

Minimum Qualifications

Specialized experience is demonstrated experience, which has equipped the applicant with the particular knowledge, skills and abilities to perform successfully the duties of this position. Experience must be in the normal line of progression or must be related to the work of the position advertised and must be reflected in resume.

To qualify for this position at the GS-12 grade level, candidates must meet the following specialized experience by the closing date of this announcement.

EXPERIENCE:

Candidates must have at least one year of specialized experience equivalent to the next lower grade level (GS-11).

This experience must include all of the following:

• Utilizes analytical and evaluative methods for the measurement and improvement of property and fleet management programs; AND
• Interprets Bureau property and fleet policies and procedures ensuring program compliance; AND
• Communicates orally with other agencies and upper management to resolve issues relating to property and logistics management.
