Job summary

Linchpin Solutions, Inc. is seeking an experienced Journeyman Logistics Management Specialist with a DoD Secret Clearance. The role requires eight years of Air Force supply chain management experience and expertise in logistics planning, testing, and risk assessment.

Onsite work schedule is full-time, with compliance and performance responsibilities across multiple logistics domains. The candidate will develop supply chain strategies, coordinate life cycle logistics, and ensure security

Qualifications

• 8+ years of Air Force supply chain experience
• Knowledge of asset-tracking
• Experience shipping assets commercially and via military system
• Experience with asset-tracking software
• Proficient with Microsoft Office

Responsibilities

• Plan, manage, and coordinate life cycle logistics support in strategic sustainment acquisition activities for the enterprise Supply Chain
• Develop, publish, and update supply chain strategies and implementation plans
• Prepare presentations, papers, and other correspondence to support logistics execution
• Support development of Requirements Approval Documents (RAD)
• Provide guidance on logistics systems and processes to personnel in the area
• Ensure security compliance in logistics operations
• Communicate effectively and maintain strong organizational skills

Role Overview

The successful candidate will be an experienced Journeyman Logistics Management Specialist (LMS) with at least eight years of Air Force Supply Chain Management experience. Support includes requirements definition, performance assessment, specification development, risk assessment and mitigation, configuration and data management, product hardware and software testing, safety, quality assurance, enterprise repair, reliability and maintainability, and technology transfer and insertion.

Specific Skillset

• Planning, managing, and coordinating life cycle logistics support in strategic sustainment acquisition activities for the enterprise Supply Chain
• Develop, publish, and update supply chain strategies and associated implementation plans that support achievement of supply objectives through contractual, financial, and technical aspects of the acquisition life cycle
• Prepare presentations, papers, and other correspondence necessary to support logistics execution
• Support the development of Requirements Approval Documents (RAD)
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
• Provide assistance and guidance on logistics systems and processes related to their series to other personnel in their assigned area
• Ability to ensure security compliance in logistics operations
• Strong communication and organizational skills

Requirements

Education & Certifications

• Associate's Degree (Bachelor's Degree in Logistics, Business, or a related field is preferred.)
• Certified Professional Logistician (CPL) is preferred

Experience Requirements

• 8+ years of Air Force Supply Chain Experience
• Know how to perform asset tracking
• Know how to ship assets commercially and through the military system
• Experience with asset-tracking software
