Location: Arlington, VA | Contract | On-Site with Flexibility/Remote options

The role involves controlling the efficient flow of goods, services, and information from origin to customer, ensuring customer requirements are met. Responsibilities include achieving customer service and time objectives within financial constraints, executing and improving standard logistics processes such as replenishment, data interchange, demand management, and electronic data systems. Building relationships with strategic customers through logistics initiatives is essential. The role also involves integrating learning from various sources to enhance competitive position.

Basic Skills

• Comprehensive knowledge of DoD policies related to Supply Chain, Property, and Inventory (e.g., DoD 4100.39, 4140.01, 4160.21, 4160.28, 5000.64, 8320.04).
• General knowledge of DoD and Service supply chain logistic support systems, including FLIS, FEDLOG, AESIP, FSC, H6 Item Name Directory, LMP, GCSS-MC, GCSS-A, and DPAS.
• Understanding of interoperability between all services' supply chain data management.
• Ability to lift a minimum of 40 pounds unassisted.
• Willingness to travel within CONUS and OCONUS as required.

Desired Skills

• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, managing multiple tasks and meeting deadlines.
• Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite: Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, and SharePoint.
• Familiarity with SOLMAN and DPAS systems.
