Job summary

A. Duie Pyle’s Leadership Development Program is an accelerated six-month experience designed to prepare future leaders for operations, brokerage, finance and more within our transportation network.

You begin at the nearest terminal, learn freight handling, and rotate through shifts to gain hands-on experience, including time with senior leadership in the corporate office. During the program, you’ll participate in classroom and on-the-job training, learning about the LTL business and how teams

Qualifications

• Prior work experience in supply chain, logistics, transportation or similar field or internship considered
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline-oriented environment
• Willingness to relocate within the Pyle network after program completion

Responsibilities

• Shadow leaders to develop leadership skills through on-the-job experiences, project assignments and formal training
• Understand teamwork and how all roles impact operations
• Participate in classroom-style learning to gain industry and company knowledge and build relationships with leadership
• Perform various positions and shifts to gain hands-on experience
