Job summary

A. Duie Pyle invites you to join its Leadership Development Program (LDP), a 24-week accelerated training pathway designed to grow tomorrow’s leaders in transportation and logistics.

You will begin at the closest Pyle terminal, learn freight handling and our LTL operations, and ride along in our trucks. Over six months you will rotate through shifts and roles, spend time in the corporate office with senior leadership, and gain hands-on experience before placement within the Pyle network.

Qualifications

• Experience in supply chain, logistics, or transportation preferred; combination of part-time work, internships or co-ops considered.
• Associates or Bachelor’s Degree preferred; High School Diploma or GED required.
• Strong written and verbal communication.
• Able to work in a fast paced, deadline oriented environment.
• Willingness to relocate within the Pyle network after program completion.
• Positive, can-do attitude.

Responsibilities

• Shadow leaders to develop leadership skills through on-the-job experiences, project assignments and formal training.
• Understanding teamwork – learning how all team members and roles impacts the operation.
• Participating in classroom style learning to develop industry and company knowledge, and develop professional relationships with high level leadership.
• Performing several different positions and working on various shifts to gain hands on experience.
