Job summary

Ashland is seeking a Logistics Leader for our Hopewell, VA site. The role oversees movement, storage, and distribution of materials and finished goods, leading a team to ensure timely delivery with safety and compliance.

The position reports to the Site Leader and engages with internal/external partners to optimize the supply chain. The ideal candidate has a Bachelor's degree and 5–10+ years in manufacturing or supply chain, plus 3+ years in supervisory roles and SAP experience.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree from an accredited university.
• 5–10+ years of manufacturing or supply chain experience.
• 3+ years of supervisory or leadership experience.
• SAP (or equivalent) experience.

Responsibilities

• Owns, oversees, and manages movement, storage, and distribution of site raw materials and finished goods.
• Leads a distinct team at the Hopewell site to ensure materials and products reach destinations safely and efficiently.
• Collaborates with onsite and offsite resources to control inventory, transportation, and vendor negotiations.
• Supports site safety, compliance, warehousing, cycle counting, tolling, and 3rd party storage; optimizes end-to-end processes.
