Job summary

Mayo Clinic in Minnesota seeks a Materials Handler to work with the supervisor on staffing, timecards, hiring and training, applying expert knowledge to optimize the work area and technology use.

You will communicate effectively with staff and supervisor, coach others, and help drive productivity and process improvements while handling daily logistics and service resolutions. The role includes an OnDemand interview with Mayo Clinic and note that the vacancy does not sponsor visas.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required.
• Associate's Degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Management or related discipline preferred.
• Minimum of four (4) years' experience as a materials handler, inventory/receiving clerk or other related field required.
• Demonstrated leadership or supervisory skills.
• Possesses PC skills, both keyboarding and applications.

Responsibilities

• Collaborates with supervisor to manage staffing, timecards, hiring and training.
• Maintains expert knowledge of the work area and optimizes technology use.
• Communicates information effectively to staff and supervisor.
• Assists in coaching staff, improving productivity and resolving service issues.
• Oversees daily staff activity and day-to-day logistics.
