Mayo Clinic in Minnesota seeks a Materials Handler to work with the supervisor on staffing, timecards, hiring and training, applying expert knowledge to optimize the work area and technology use.

You will communicate effectively with staff and supervisor, coach others, and help drive productivity and process improvements while handling daily logistics and service resolutions. The role includes an OnDemand interview with Mayo Clinic and note that the vacancy does not sponsor visas.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required.
• Associate's Degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Management or related discipline preferred.
• Minimum of four (4) years' experience as a materials handler, inventory/receiving clerk or other related field required.
• Demonstrated leadership or supervisory skills.
• Possesses PC skills, both keyboarding and applications.

Responsibilities

Works collaboratively with supervisor as a resource to unit personnel. Participates in and/or assists Supervisor with staffing, timecards, hiring and training. Maintains an expert knowledge of the work area and optimizes use of available technology. Effectively communicates information to staff, and supervisor. Assists supervisor in the coaching and development of staff, optimization of area productivity and service problem resolution, and development of internal processes. May represent area on task forces/committees etc. Demonstrates excellent customer service skills when resolving conflicts with staff and customers. Assists in daily oversight of staff activity, and performs day-to-day logistics functions.

You will have the opportunity to re-record your answer to each question. Mayo Clinic will only see the final recording.
