Job summary

Qualifications

• Forklift experience required.
• Valid driver’s license required.
• Overhead crane knowledge with hoisting and rigging experience preferred.
• Knowledge of hand and power tools is required.
• Must be able to multi-task and handle multiple assignments.
• Previous shipping/receiving experience preferred.
• Computer skills: Outlook, Windows, ERP, data entry and documentation.
• Ability to follow step-by-step procedures with accuracy.
• Good interpersonal and communication skills.
• Education: Vocational or High School.

Responsibilities

• Unload and receive deliveries, verify quantities and document discrepancies.
• Stage and store received items in their proper location.
• Inventory management, including monthly cycle counts.
• Stage and/or store items after workshop disassembly and before work orders.
• Verify quantities, stage, and prepare items for each work order.
• Package parts/equipment for shipping and load trucks.
• Provide shipping documentation and coordinate transportation of shipments.
• Occasionally transport and deliver equipment to and/or pick-up from customers and suppliers.
• Interface with project management, technical staff, logistics, and purchasing.
• Daily workshop housekeeping to maintain clean, safe work areas.
• Provide additional support where needed.
