Job summary

Amelex is seeking a detail-oriented Shipping/Receiving Associate to perform clerical and physical tasks related to the receipt and shipment of material and equipment. You will verify shipments, package items, load loading equipment, and maintain shipment records in a fast-paced facility.

Must have a High School Diploma or equivalent and at least two years in material handling, receiving, and shipping. Forklift training and ability to obtain a DOT medical card are required.

Qualifications

• Minimum two years of material handling, receiving and shipping experience.
• Forklift training and ability to obtain DOT medical card.

Responsibilities

• Receive and ship material and equipment; verify items and quantities against shipment docs.
• Package, load into vehicles and record goods shipped; operate warehouse equipment.
• Verify incoming shipments against bills of lading and invoices; inspect for damage.
• Maintain property accountability and tagging for government equipment.
