Job summary

RentQuest, a furniture and prop rental company, seeks a warehouse coordinator to support transportation coordination, inventory control, and damage management. You will communicate item status, verify shipments, and help maintain accurate stock records.

Based in Midtown NYC with a current Elizabeth, NJ warehouse, relocation plans to Bridgeport, CT may affect duties. The role requires 1–2 years of warehouse experience and a high school diploma or GED.

Qualifications

• 1–2 years warehouse experience preferred.
• High school diploma or GED required.
• Energetic and professional with excellent verbal skills.
• Focus and remain on task in a fast-paced environment.
• Attention to detail and time management skills.
• Able to work well under pressure and with others.

Responsibilities

• Handle phone dispatch to coordinate and monitor transportation and routing operations.
• Inform customers by updating item availability, shipment date, method, and current status.
• Verify items shipped by matching bills of lading, reconciling quantities, and noting discrepancies.
• Inventory and verify damaged stock upon arrival in warehouse.
• Manage and facilitate repairs and replacements of damaged items within 48 hours.
• Update inventory software for damages, repairs, and new items.
• Prepare accurate reports for upper management.
• Assist with minor warehouse duties as assigned.
