The Restaurant Store, a Clark Associates Company, is seeking a Logistics Intern to gain hands-on experience in order fulfillment or transportation. This internship will include training, round-table discussions with executives, and a focus on real contribution from day one at our Pennsylvania headquarters.

Responsibilities

• Order Fulfillment Track: Work with Customer Solutions team and store locations to enhance ordering experience; Assess incoming orders and determine efficient fulfillment methods; Communicate with customers mainly via email on order status; Assist in solving order requirements; Coordinate with vendors, distribution centers, and purchasing to ensure fulfillment; Enter purchase orders for customized items; Monitor expedited shipping orders; Coordinate with locations to complete online pickup orders; Propose delivery and fulfillment improvements.
• Transportation Track: Work with carriers to resolve shipping issues; Decide delivery needs of customer orders; Provide updates to customers; Collaborate with Customer Solutions team and stores to enhance shopping experience; File and manage carrier damage claims; Schedule pickups; Log freight invoices; Monitor expedited orders; Suggest delivery improvements.
