Job summary

WebstaurantStore is seeking a Logistics Data Analytics Intern for Summer 2027 to gain hands-on experience in outbound transportation analytics, reporting, and process improvement.

You will build dashboards in Power BI/Tableau, work with SQL, Python, R, and Snowflake, and present projects at program end.

Qualifications

WebstaurantStore, a Clark Associates company, is looking for proactive, detail-oriented candidates to join our growing company as a Logistics Data Analyst Intern for the Summer of 2027. This role focuses on problem-solving and process improvement and is a key part of growing our business.

The Outbound Transportation Team, a subdivision of our Logistics Department, focuses on strengthening the outbound transportation link in the supply chain through cost optimization, efficient processes, and a focus on the customer experience.

The Data Analytics team within Outbound Transportation serves to drive decision-making throughout the department and company by an effective use of both data and business analysis. The team fosters collaboration and aims to also empower our stakeholders through focused reporting and by promoting continuous education. Our goal is to optimize processes and empower others to make data-driven decisions. The team focuses on innovating through creative solutions, transparent and quality data in a timely manner that outpaces the needs of the business.

Remote Work Qualifications

• Access to a reliable and secure high-speed internet connection. Cable or fiber internet connections (at least 75mbps download/10mbps upload) are preferred, as satellite connections often cannot support the technologies used to perform day-to-day tasks.
• Access to a home router and modem.
• A dedicated home office space that is noise- and distraction-free. The space should have strong wireless connection or a wired Ethernet connection (wired connection is preferred, if possible).
• A valid, physical address (apartment, suite, etc.). PO Boxes are not supported, as a physical address is required for you to receive your computer equipment.
• The desire and ability to work and communicate with other team members via chat, webcam, etc.

Responsibilities

As a Logistics Data Intern, you will:

Physical Requirements

• Work is performed while sitting/standing and interfacing with a personal computer.
• Requires the ability to communicate effectively using speech, vision, and hearing.
• Requires the regular use of hands for simple grasping and fine manipulations.
• Requires occasional bending, squatting, crawling, climbing, and reaching.
• Requires the ability to occasionally lift, carry, push, or pull medium weights, up to 50lbs.
