Job summary

The Restaurant Store, one of Pennsylvania’s fastest growing companies, seeks a Logistics Intern to gain hands-on experience in order fulfillment or transportation. intern program includes training courses, round-table discussions with executives, and a volunteer day to support the community.

Interns participate in sessions led by the Chairman and Clark executives on topics like building a personal brand and entrepreneurial spirit.

Qualifications

• Past industry experience is helpful but not required for this position.

Responsibilities

• Work closely with Customer Solutions team and retail store locations to enhance the customer ordering experience.
• Assess incoming orders and determine efficient fulfillment methods.
• Communicate with customers on order status via email while remaining empathetic.
• Assist in solving problems to meet order requirements and execute strategic solutions.
• Coordinate with vendors, distribution centers and purchasing to ensure effective fulfillment.
• Enter purchase orders for customized and special items; monitor expedited shipping.
• Coordinate and complete online pickup orders with store locations.
• Offer suggestions to improve delivery and fulfillment.
• Work with carriers to resolve shipping issues and schedule pickups.
• Log and analyze freight invoices and track timely deliveries.
