Job summary

Kuehne+Nagel is recruiting an HR Generalist to support employees and leaders across the full spectrum of HR. You will drive staffing success, onboard new hires, maintain confidential records, and ensure compliance with employment laws in the United States.

In this role you’ll coordinate interviews, manage HRIS and reporting, partner with temporary staffing agencies, and contribute to programs that improve the employee experience while supporting organizational growth and operational excellence.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• 2+ years of HR experience including recruiting coordination, onboarding, and HR administration.
• Experience maintaining confidential employee records and HRIS.
• Knowledge of US federal, state and local employment laws including EEO requirements.
• Experience preparing HR-related reports and workforce metrics.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate interviews, schedule candidate communications, and assist hiring managers throughout the hiring process.
• Conduct new hire orientations and onboarding programs to ensure a positive, compliant employee experience.
• Maintain accurate personnel records, HRIS data, and HR policies for compliance.
• Prepare HR reports and metrics including staffing, headcount, diversity, and EEO reporting.
• Coordinate relationships with temporary staffing agencies and onboarding activities.
