Job summary

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED is required.
• Preferred experience in shipping, receiving, sorting, and distributing furniture, supplies or equipment.

Responsibilities

• Drives state agency trucks and cargo vans to deliver and pickup large items such as furniture, filing cabinets, IT and telecommunications equipment, boxed file records, packages, business supplies, surplus state property, and emergency office equipment.
• Loads, unloads, and delivers cargo efficiently and safely.
• Maintains vehicle maintenance logs and submits monthly vehicle reports for fleet management.
• Performs warehouse duties including tracking inventory and surplus state property.
• Oversees and directs activities of contractors and vendors for moves and modular furniture installation.
• Assists in regional Disaster Deployment Team deliveries and setup of emergency equipment.
