The role involves placing and monitoring purchase orders, coordinating with distribution centers, and optimizing receiving and storage processes. Qualified candidates will have a high school diploma, 2+ years in purchasing or related support, and proficiency with Microsoft Office, including Excel, Word, and Access.

Qualifications

• Must have a high school diploma or GED.
• 2+ years of purchasing experience and/or customer service and administrative support experience.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Access).

Responsibilities

• Place and monitor purchase orders to maximize in-stock levels and minimize inventory exposure.
• Partner with distribution center functions to meet operating targets.
• Optimize receiving, storage, picking, and loading operations.
• Maintain inventory levels to minimize obsolescence and spoilage.
• Coordinate with Transportation to optimize backhauls.
• Manage inter-center transfers, allocations, and supply and quality issues.
