Job summary

You will lead continuous improvement in shipping excellence, coordinate with production, sales, customer service and purchasing, and drive inventory accuracy and process efficiencies. The role requires a Bachelor's in Engineering, full professional proficiency in Spanish, and strong knowledge of logistics and warehousing.

Responsibilities

• Ensures shipping daily goals are met and drives continuous improvement in on-time shipping.
• Coordinate shipping activities with production, sales, customer service and purchasing.
• Issue shipping instructions and routing information to meet delivery times.
• Develop optimal work schedules and train employees to improve team performance.
• Utilize resources efficiently and enforce policies and procedures.
• Monitor inventory accuracy, negative balances, and bin location accuracy.
• Lead inventory improvement, investigate discrepancies and implement corrective actions.
• Oversee periodic cycle counts, annual physical inventory and variance reporting.
• Prepare and distribute shipping reports detailing status and costs.
• Ensure finished goods are transacted correctly and stored properly.
• Arrange shipping documentation and liaise with customs as needed.
• Coordinate storage facilities when required.
• Review production orders to estimate peak delivery periods.
• Maintain OSHA and DOT compliance and safe working environment.
