J.B. Hunt Transport Services, Inc. is seeking a Logistics Engineer III to apply quantitative methods and engineering insights to optimize processes across the organization.

The role involves coordinating with customers and internal teams to define project parameters and deliver data-driven solutions. The ideal candidate holds a relevant bachelor's degree and has 4+ years in industrial engineering or a related field, with skills in statistics, optimization, and SQL-driven data analysis.

Qualificações

• Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering, Mathematics, Statistics, Information Management, or related field, or foreign equivalent, or suitable combination of education, experience, and training with 4 years of experience in Industrial Engineering or related field
• Experience in data visualization software, statistics, operations research, linear programming, forecasting, predictive modeling, relational databases, and/or SQL

Job Summary

Under general supervision, the position is responsible for utilizing problem solving and quantitative methods to provide engineering solutions in various areas of the organization. The incumbent will coordinate with internal and external customers to understand the parameters of projects.

Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering, Mathematics, Statistics, Information Management, or related field, or foreign equivalent, or suitable combination of education, experience, and training with 4 years of experience in Industrial Engineering or related field AND Demonstration of the following

• Experience in data visualization software, statistics, operations research, linear programming, forecasting, predictive modeling, relational databases, and/or SQL

Compensation

Factors which may affect starting pay within this range may include skills, education,experience, geography, and other qualifications of the successful candidate. This position may be eligible for annual bonus and incentives based on profitability or volumes in accordance with the terms of the Company’s bonus and incentive plans, as applicable and in effect from time to time.

The Company offers the following benefits for full-time positions, subject to applicable eligibility requirements, as may be in effect from time to time: medical benefit, dental benefit, vision benefit,401(k) retirement plan, life insurance, short-term and long-term disability coverage, paid time off commensurate with tenure (includes vacation and sick time), two weeks of paid parental leave, and six paid holidays annually.
