SAIC is seeking a Logistics Engineer to perform system fault analysis, life cycle maintenance, and integrated product support (IPS) of major PMW-160 systems, specifically Automated Digital Network System (ADNS). This position is primarily remote but must be local to San Diego, CA.

Job Duties

1. Distribute program data to Logistics team members for product development, including CDMD-OA, ILS Checklists, Provisioning, ILS Packages, Technical Documentation, PMS, DMSMS, and PSD.
2. Manage the flow of goods, services, and information from origin to customer to meet requirements.
3. Plan, schedule, and manage the movement of materials from receiving or warehouse to production.
4. Develop raw material and scheduling requirements based on engineering specs and production schedules; coordinate with purchasing, warehouse, and production.
5. Improve and execute standard logistic processes.
6. Oversee maintenance, supply, transportation, and logistics planning functions.
7. Include program formulation, policy planning, coordination, inspection, logistics processes, joint planning, acquisition, product support, asset visibility, and material management.

Qualifications

Requirements:

• Bachelor's Degree with at least 6 years of relevant experience, or equivalent experience in lieu of degree.
• U.S. Citizen.
• Active Secret Clearance to start; ability to obtain TS/SCI clearance.
• Deep knowledge of logistics, including provisioning, ILS certifications, PMS, technical documentation, ILS packages, CDMD-OA, PSD, DMSMS, and ECR processes.
• Technical, engineering, or logistics background involving hardware or software systems.

Desired Skills

• Experience with hardware drawing analysis, BOM analysis, and ECR inputs.
• Understanding hardware and software obsolescence.
