Description

SAIC is looking for a Logistics Engineer to perform system fault analysis, life cycle maintenance, and integrated product support (IPS) of major PMW-160 systems, specifically Automated Digital Network System (ADNS). This position is mostly remote and must be local to San Diego, CA.

JOB DUTIES:

1. Ensure program data is distributed to Logistics team members for product development, including CDMD-OA, ILS Checklists, Provisioning, Technical Documentation, PMS, DMSMS, and PSD.
2. Control the efficient flow of goods, services, and information to meet customer requirements.
3. Plan, schedule, and manage the movement of materials from receiving or warehouse to production.
4. Develop raw material requirements, schedule requirements, and manage material movement with purchasing, warehouse, and production.
5. Ensure continuous improvement of standard logistic processes.
6. Manage logistics functions including maintenance, supply, transportation, and logistics planning.
7. Involve in program formulation, policy planning, inspection, integrated logistics processes, acquisition, product support, and asset visibility.

Qualifications

REQUIREMENTS:

1. Bachelor's Degree and six (6) years or more of related experience; experience may substitute for degree.
2. Active Secret Clearance to start, ability to obtain TS/SCI clearance.
3. Thorough knowledge of Logistics and product deliverables including Provisioning, ILS Certifications, PMS, Technical Documentation, ILS Packages, CDMD-OA, PSD, DMSMS, and ECR process.
4. Technical, engineering, or logistics background involving hardware or software systems.
5. Deep understanding of all ILS areas and products.

DESIRED SKILLS:

1. Experience with hardware drawing analysis, BOM analysis, and inputs to ECRs.
2. Understanding hardware and software obsolescence.

Target salary range: $80,001 - $120,000. Applications are accepted ongoing with no deadline.
