Job description

SAIC is seeking a Logistics Engineer to perform system fault analysis, life cycle maintenance, and integrated product support (IPS) of major PMW-160 systems, specifically the Automated Digital Network System (ADNS). This position is primarily remote but requires the candidate to be local to San Diego, CA.

Job Duties:

1. Distribute program data to Logistics team members for product development, including CDMD-OA, ILS Checklists, Provisioning, ILS Packages, Technical Documentation, PMS, DMSMS, and PSD.
2. Manage the efficient flow of goods, services, and information from origin to customer to meet requirements.
3. Plan, schedule, and oversee the movement of materials from receiving or warehouse to production.
4. Develop raw material and scheduling requirements based on engineering specifications and production plans; coordinate with purchasing, warehouse, and production.
5. Ensure continuous improvement of standard logistic processes.
6. Handle logistics functions such as maintenance, supply, transportation, and logistics planning.
7. Include program formulation, policy planning, coordination, inspection, logistics processes, joint planning, acquisition, product support, asset visibility, material management, and supervision as part of logistics tasks.

Qualifications

Requirements:

• Bachelor's Degree with at least six (6) years of related experience; experience may substitute for degree.
• U.S. Citizen.
• Active Secret Clearance to start; ability to obtain TS/SCI clearance later.
• Thorough knowledge of Logistics and deliverables such as Provisioning, ILS Certifications, PMS, Technical Documentation, ILS Packages, CDMD-OA, PSD, DMSMS, and ECR process.
• Technical, engineering, or logistics background involving hardware or software systems.
• Comprehensive knowledge of all ILS areas and products.

Desired Skills:

• Experience with hardware drawing analysis, BOM analysis, and inputs to ECRs.
• Understanding of hardware and software obsolescence.

Additional Details:

Target salary range: $80,001 - $120,000. This estimate reflects typical compensation based on experience and other factors.
