Job summary

J.M. Huber Corporation is seeking a Logistics Coordinator to efficiently manage inbound and outbound shipments and work closely with carriers and customers to resolve scheduling issues. This first-shift role runs 8:00 a.m.

to 4:00 p.m., Monday through Friday, with responsibilities that include dock scheduling, BOL processing, and ensuring accurate data in Oracle ERP. The position supports inventory and back-up duties for the Logistics team, helps maintain compliance with sustainability

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in related field preferred; minimum of five years manufacturing-related experience or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Must be able to handle multiple duties at once; interacts with customers, shippers, truckers, management, and plant personnel all in the same time frame.
• Must have good computer skills; prior experience with Oracle, handheld scanners and Microsoft Office preferred.
• Ability to communicate effectively; must be able to operate a forklift and maintain forklift certification.
• Willing and able to work and act safely; IATA, IMDG, DOT certification.
• Ability to read, comprehend and follow safety policy manuals, SOPs, SDSs, and various production schedules / reports.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate all outbound shipments and make/record loading appointments for the site.
• Process trucks to be loaded with correct pickup number, routing, and Oracle ERP entries; printing and processing of BOL.
• Ensure correct carrier information is entered into the system.
• Inspect trailers and loads according to the order and load pattern.
• Maintain BOLs, rotation, and filing for two years per regulations.
• Prepare reports such as late shipment, open orders, and tons shipped.
