Job summary

STARC Systems Inc. is seeking a Logistics & Distribution Specialist to join our team.

This role manages day-to-day shipping, receiving, inventory coordination, and production support while driving process improvements and operational efficiency. The ideal candidate will be a self-starter with strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work cross-functionally with internal teams, vendors, and carriers.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; associate degree preferred.
• 3+ years in logistics, shipping, receiving, or distribution.
• Proficiency with ERP systems and freight/carrier management tools.

Responsibilities

• Receive incoming materials, unload trucks, verify shipments, log into ERP and store in correct location.
• Pack/crate finished goods as required, and ensure timely delivery.
• Coordinate LTL/truck/UPS shipping, create BOLs, and log shipping data in ERP.
• Coordinate with production, sales and customer service to schedule and report deliveries.
• Maintain organized shipping/manufacturing areas using 6S and Lean methods.
