Job summary

Staples Supply Chain is seeking a Delivery Operations Supervisor to lead the team responsible for the timely and complete delivery of all orders. You will plan and ensure daily, weekly, and monthly goals are met while coordinating with senior management to drive efficiency and cost controls.

You will coach and develop associates, optimize processes, and uphold a strong safety culture to protect employees and customers. This role offers growth within a dynamic logistics environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED.
• 3+ years of transportation experience.
• Valid driver’s license with a safe driving history acceptable to the company.
• Ability to pass a DOT physical and drug screen to the extent legally permissible.
• Must obtain a 6-month DOT medical card specific to the role.
• An ability to lift, lower, push, pull or carry product up to a maximum of 70 pounds by hand.
• Must be at least 21 years of age.

Responsibilities

• Lead the delivery operations team to ensure timely and complete order deliveries.
• Plan and adjust headcount to meet daily, weekly, and monthly goals.
• Collaborate with senior management to drive operational excellence and facility success including productivity, accuracy, and budget.
• Make recommendations and improvements to department processes and procedures; participate in hiring, training and coaching of associates.
• Ensure safe work practices and uphold the safety culture.
