Job summary

STARC Systems, Inc. is seeking a Logistics & Distribution Specialist to support materials handling, shipping/receiving, and inventory coordination.

You will log shipments into ERP, coordinate with production and sales, and strive to improve overall operational efficiency. The role requires strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and effective communication with internal teams and external partners.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; Associate’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain, or Business preferred.
• 3+ years of experience in logistics, shipping and receiving, or distribution.
• Proficiency with ERP systems and freight or carrier management tools.
• Knowledge of LTL and FTL freight processes, carrier selection, and rate coordination.

Responsibilities

• Receive incoming materials, unload trucks, verify shipments, log into ERP, and store in the correct location while performing day-to-day shipping and receiving operations.
• Pack or crate finished goods to customer orders.
• Coordinate LTL/truck/UPS shipping, arrange pickups, create BOLs, load trucks, and log shipping data in ERP.
• Coordinate with production, sales and customer service to schedule, ship and report deliveries.
• Maintain and improve organization of shipping and manufacturing areas using 6S and Lean methods.
