Under the supervision of the Supply Chain Manager, the dispatcher will receive orders, monitor progress, resolve issues, and maintain records to support smooth operations. Proficiency in MS Office and dispatch software is required, with English/Spanish bilingual preferred.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• 2 years of relatable work experience in heavy traffic logistics or transportation.
• Bilingual proficiency in English and Spanish preferred.

Responsibilities

• Schedule and dispatch to appropriate locations according to customer requests, specifications or needs.
• Receive customer order requests.
• Monitor and track progress of deliveries and provide updates to customers and managers.
• Handle customer inquiries and resolve issues or route to appropriate manager.
• Maintain accurate records of driver activities, delivery times and customer interactions.
• Coordinate with other departments to ensure smooth operations and customer satisfaction.
• Utilize dispatch software to optimize routes and improve efficiency.
• Ensure compliance with company policies and regulations.
• Type correspondence, prepare reports, and maintain files.
• Support safety policy compliance and participate in toolbox talks.
