Austin Hose in Texas is seeking a full-time dispatcher to coordinate drivers and routes, prioritizing safety and efficiency in daily operations.

You will document calls and deliveries, monitor performance, complete delivery paperwork, and assist with truck inspections and sales support.

The role requires MS Word/Excel/Outlook skills, strong communication, and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.

High School diploma with 2+ years dispatcher experience.
Proficient in Word, Excel, and Outlook.
Strong verbal, written, mathematical and interpersonal skills.
Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
Ability to maintain a good working relationship with co-workers, supervisors, management, and various personnel.

Schedule drivers and routes to ensure safety and efficiency.
Documenting all calls, deliveries, routes and times for pickup and deliveries.
Monitor daily/weekly deliveries for effectiveness.
Completion of all paperwork related to deliveries, including special billing documents.
Assist with truck inspections and ensuring all company equipment including motive is working accurately.
Assist with inside sales as needed.
Work with Logistics Coordinator on driver’s logs, motive, and DOT regulations.
Assist/Coordinate with truck rotations, maintenance, inspections, registrations, etc.
Administer and train users on proof of delivery software and utilize software to assign deliveries and ensure all proof of delivery information is being properly obtained.
Work with all related departments to see through resolutions on discrepancies related to billings and deliveries.
Responsible for communicating, participating, and reviewing intercompany communications using Microsoft Teams via company computer, Honeywell, and/or app.
Maintain neat and organized files.
Maintain procedures and process for duties as assigned.
Willingness to be flexible, including working overtime, and performing responsibilities not specifically identified in the job description and assuming new responsibilities as the department’s needs change.
