Job summary

Aarigging seeks a seasoned Logistics Coordinator in Houston to schedule rigging crews and assign equipment per job requirements while ensuring compliance with DOT regulations. You will coordinate travel, load times, and associated tasks across multiple locations.

Primary duties include dispatching crews, managing paperwork, and maintaining equipment records. Strong communication, problem-solving, and MS Office skills are essential in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 2+ years logistics coordination experience in rigging or transportation (preferred).
• Excellent interpersonal, communication and project management skills.
• Ability to use Microsoft Office Applications.
• Knowledge of intra- and interstate trip permit regulations.
• Knowledge of export/import shipments requirements.
• Valid and current driver’s license or ability to attain one.

Responsibilities

• Plan, coordinate and schedule crews and equipment for each job.
• Manage paperwork for daily export packing crew tasks.
• Dispatch crews each morning to sites based on skill and needs.
• Dispatch equipment and tools; schedule maintenance and permits.
• Prepare and distribute job, safety, and equipment paperwork.
• Enter labor and equipment data in Wright Plan.
• Review labor hours in ADP; obtain final manager approval.
• Update the logistics job board daily with pending and confirmed jobs.
• Coordinate drop-off/pick-up of equipment across locations.
• Supervise driving and rigging crews for safety and MEI standards.
• Communicate daily with foremen and drivers for efficiency.
• Provide new hire safety and timekeeping orientation.
