Job summary

The Suddath Companies in Charlotte, NC is seeking a Dispatcher to coordinate daily production activity, assign crews and equipment, and ensure on-time, safe completion of orders. You will interact with production crews and coordinators to manage start times and routing.

Qualifications

• Associate Degree from an accredited college or university; or five to seven years related experience and/or training in transportation or moving & storage.
• Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business materials; strong written and verbal communication.
• Experience using move management software and standard Office tools.

Responsibilities

• Schedule jobs, crews, equipment, and routing to meet customer commitments.
• Maintain real-time scheduling and inform Coordinators of changes.
• Supervise production crew and ensure safety and compliance.
• Coordinate with Quality Assurance and Claims for improvements.
• Maintain inventory of materials and ensure timely paperwork.
