Job summary

Maersk Warehousing and Distribution USA LLC seeks a dispatch coordinator to schedule drivers for freight deliveries and pickups, coordinate with customers and vendors, and plan efficient routes to meet tight deadlines. The role is based on-site in Baltimore.

Ideal candidates possess strong time management, knowledge of traffic laws, and excellent communication skills, with competency in dispatch software and English proficiency. Competitive hourly pay and benefits are included.

Responsibilities

• Scheduling drivers to make freight deliveries or pickups.
• Communicating with customers and vendors about details and times.
• Planning predetermined routes for drivers.
• Identifying traffic issues and creating corrective plans.
• Preparing dispatch documents for management and others.
• Maintaining records of dispatch calls, routes, and times.
• Monitoring truck repairs and maintenance schedules.
• Logging vendor concerns and calls.
• Answering calls from vendors, customers, and management.
• Other duties as requested.
