Qualifications

• Scheduling drivers to make freight delivery or collect shipments.
• Communicating with customers and vendors about freight details, pickup and drop-off times.
• Planning predetermined routes for drivers.
• Identifying traffic problems and creating corrective action plans to achieve timely results.
• Preparing dispatch documents for management and pulling needed documents.
• Maintain a record of dispatch calls, driver routes and times.
• Monitoring truck maintenance schedules.
• Logging vendor complaints or concerns.
• Answering calls from vendors, customers, and management.

Responsibilities
