Qualifications

• Experience scheduling drivers and coordinating freight operations.
• Ability to plan routes and communicate requirements clearly.

Responsibilities

• Schedule drivers to deliver freight and pickup shipments.
• Communicate with customers and vendors about freight details and times.
• Plan predetermined routes for drivers to optimize efficiency.
• Identify time-critical routing issues and implement corrective actions.
• Prepare dispatch documents and provide needed paperwork to stakeholders.
• Maintain records of dispatch calls, routes, and delivery/pickup times.
• Monitor truck maintenance and coordinate repairs as needed.
• Log vendor complaints or concerns and ensure timely resolution.
• Answer calls from vendors, customers, and management and assist as needed.
• Perform other duties as requested by supervision.
