Job summary

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• 0–2 years of experience in transportation, logistics, or distribution center operations preferred.
• Prior customer service experience preferred.
• Familiarity with TMS systems a plus (RXO preferred, not required).
• Strong administrative and communication skills; comfortable interfacing directly with drivers and carrier partners.
• Basic computer proficiency, including the ability to print, scan, and fax documents.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Check in drivers at the dock window, verify paperwork, and communicate load-readiness.
• Walk the floor and dock to monitor trailers and support timely loading.
• Perform checks to catch errors before trailers close and send reminders.
• Track shipments and provide status updates to stakeholders and customers.
• Coordinate with RXO for routing and shipment needs.
• Enter routing info in TMS (RXO) per procedures.
• Log and route OSD claims to carrier or team.
• Ensure documentation accuracy (BOL, pallet counts, packing slips).
• Coordinate dock scheduling to support production and outbound shipping priorities.
• Maintain supply of shipping materials (pallets, labels, packaging).
• Support shipment consolidation to reduce delivery frequency.
• Assist with day-to-day communication between shifts and leadership.
