Job summary

CrossGlobe seeks a Traffic Dispatcher Clerk (Window Clerk) to coordinate and schedule drivers for pick-up and delivery, ensuring safety and timeliness. You will process cargo bookings and import/export documentation while meeting deadlines and regulatory requirements.

Strong communication with customers is essential. Responsibilities include verifying documents, informing customers of cargo status, and coordinating with drivers.

Qualifications

• Minimum two years of customer service and import documentation experience required.
• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Intermediate to advanced skills in MS Word, Excel and Outlook.
• Typing 40–45 wpm with 10-key by touch.
• Excellent written and verbal communication in English; follow procedures precisely.

Responsibilities

• Ensure all documentation is submitted timely as required.
• Check documents, make corrections, and distribute to customers to meet deadlines.
• Collect Bills of Lading and verify information for accuracy and processing.
• Inform customers of cargo arrivals/departures with notices and copies of B/L.
• Secure original bills of lading endorsements and delivery orders.
• Check that cargo is properly released and coordinate with truck drivers.
• Consolidate orders into truckloads for specific destinations.
• Coordinate and enter all data into computer systems; handle heavy phone communications.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.
