Universal Logistics is seeking a Clerk to support daily transportation and dispatch operations at our Indiana facility, coordinating with drivers, dispatch, and warehouse teams to ensure timely, accurate freight movements. This role emphasizes strong communication, attention to detail, and teamwork within a fast-paced logistics environment.

You will assist with route tracking, load status updates, and data entry, contributing to safe, on-time deliveries and high customer satisfaction.

Competenze

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Strong verbal and written communication.

Mansioni

• Assist with daily dispatch activities and route tracking.
• Communicate load status, ETAs, and exceptions to drivers and customers.
• Monitor inbound/outbound shipments for on-time performance.
• Track material flow and report discrepancies or service issues.
• Maintain operational records, manifests, and logs.
• Support safety and compliance per company policies and DOT/OSHA guidelines.
• Resolve routine service issues such as delays or equipment concerns.
• Enter and maintain data in transportation and dispatch systems.
• Support other tasks to keep daily workflows running smoothly.
